GCSE Results Summer 2023
Russell Bond, Principal, was full of praise for the Class of ’23. This Year group has shown great resilience in achieving some amazing results. The students and the teachers should be proud of their achievements. We look forward to welcoming a large number of students back to Oxted School next year to start their Key Stage 5 courses.
High achievers at school included:
- Eve C with nine Grade 9s and two Grade 8s
- Grace S with seven Grade 9s and two Grade 8s and two Grade 7s
- Oscar P with seven Grade 9s and three Grade 8s and one Grade 7
Another special mention must also go to:
Niamh P, Alexa R, Rebecca W, Callum B, Lucy R, Thomas W, Maia F-R and Isobel S, all of them achieved 10 or more grades at 7+ (A*-A equivalent), sharing over 32 Grade 9s amongst them.
Anyone achieving one Grade 9 is outstanding but to achieve this many is truly remarkable.
Mr Bond added: “It was amazing to celebrate with the students and to see them collect their results, and we cannot wait to see many of them back in September."
Ms Nicholls, Vice Principal and Mr Edwards, Year 11 Senior Pastoral Leader said, "It has been an absolute pleasure supporting such a talented and hard-working year group. All the students should be really pleased with their achievements - not just in these exam results, but over the last five years. We are certainly very proud of them all!"
