New Rewards System

Last half term, we launched this new rewards system, and it has been wonderful to see our students being recognised for their achievements. We also introduced a new rewards assembly, where each Senior Pastoral Lead celebrated the success of their year group. Many certificates and rewards were handed out, making it a fantastic way to end the half term by highlighting the achievements of our students. 

We are proud of all our students and look forward to continuing to celebrate their successes throughout the year. 

We are excited to share the introduction of several new rewards designed to celebrate the success and hard work of our students. Here’s an overview of the rewards system we have put in place: 

Daily Awards 

• Golden Ticket Winner: Each lesson, one student is nominated for their outstanding efforts 

Half Term Awards 

• Everyday Star: Students can be nominated at any time. The recipients of this award will receive a surprise email sent home to parents, detailing the reason for their nomination and the name of the staff member who nominated them
• Academic Distinctions: One student per subject, per year group is nominated for their academic excellence
• Tutor Awards: Students are nominated by their Tutor for their exceptional contributions
• Pastoral Awards: Nominations are made by the Pastoral Team to recognize students’ positive impact
• Principal Commendations: These continue as before, with students being invited to meet the Principal to receive their certificate. Parents will be informed via email about the nomination and the reason behind it 

Termly Awards 

• Tutee of the Term: Nominated by the Tutor for their consistent effort and achievements
• Student of the Term: Selected by the Pastoral Team for their overall excellence
