Oxted School is proud to be celebrating a fantastic set of Key Stage 4 results.
The school is very pleased to report a significant improvement in headline figures, with a 12% rise in strong passes in English and Maths. This achievement can be attributed to the level of commitment of the Year 11 students, as well as the outstanding support they have received from school staff and parents/carers.
High achievers at school included:
• Matthew E with eight grade 9s, two grade 8s and one grade 7
• Chloe L-C with seven grade 9s, two grade 8s and one grade 7
• Emily J with six grade 9s, one grade 8 and three grade 7s
• Ewan M with five grade 9s, four grade 8s and one grade 7
Another special mention must also go to the 25 students who achieved eight or more grade 7-9 GCSEs sharing 84 grade 9s amongst them.
Mrs Payne, Executive Principal said: “We were really pleased to see so many happy faces on results day and the students should feel very proud of themselves and the positive attitude they have shown throughout this year and the exam period.’’
On behalf of the Year 11 team Ms Bergamo, Assistant Principal said: "It has been an absolute pleasure supporting such a talented and hard-working year group. All the students should be really pleased with their achievements - not just in these exam results, but over the last five years. We are certainly very proud of them all!"
