Exciting Day at Oxted School!
Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Lynne from Young Enterprise and her amazing team of volunteers for a fantastic careers workshop with our enthusiastic Year 7 and Year 8 students.
Our students were introduced to the fascinating world of entrepreneurship and learned how businesses are run. They then took on an exciting challenge: designing footwear for two clients in teams.
It was great to see the creativity and innovation each team brought to the table. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the presentations. Watching every group stand up and confidently share their ideas was phenomenal. It showcased the resilience and determination of our students when faced with challenges.
A special moment was hearing from one student who shared, “I feel more empowered after the workshop and confident enough to talk to students I’ve never spoken to before.”
